Ouch. For that price, it had better fix me breakfast in the morning. I didn't pay that much for my Truck.

holy crap

I would think a 241 would handle everything until you start getting into dedicated trail rigs or extreme offroading.

You could get a mega viper for that price. Or a brand new nv4500 and have 1000 left to play with. Or a whole nother truck. Or build a stroker.

But what am I saying. It will obviously last forever and is a end all be all solution

Yeah, it was spendy as hell. There were a number of factors involved in my decision to get it that weren't $$ related.
My truck didn't cost that much originally either, but the price keeps rising the longer I keep it.

What are you going to do for the driveshafts and the shifter?

I have to lengthen the rear driveshaft a bit, front stays the same. Getting the shifter with the TC, part of the reason for the price jump.
