today when I started my truck to go to work I noticed a sound under my truck it sounded kinda like a humming or buzzing sound.I put my ear to the gas tank while the truck was running and sure enough thats where the sound is coming from.would this be the fuel pump going bad or the fuel pressure relay?my truck has been having loss of power issues and low idol and staling and backfiring issues for months now and I think now this is whats causing the issue.its been making the humming or buzzing sound all day every time the trucks running if you put your head of of the truck window you can hear it while driving.

Swap the relay with another one and also making sure there is nothing under the relay (where it connects the to PDC connection). And I suppose bad wiring/connection at the PCM could be at fault?
I dont have a fuel pressure gauge how much would I have to pay to buy one?I looked at a few but they only went up to 30 psi.cant do much today its raining but if it stops i may go buy one.
when im doing reading the gauge do i have to wait for the pressure on the gauge to drop back down to zero or can i just take it right off after im done?i was told to use a shop rag cause some gas will spill when i remove the hose?
