I had my transmission rebuilt like 3 weeks ago and it's going back to the shop tomorrow. They over filled the transmission by 2 quarts, the front pump seal was leaking the first time I took it back, now it's going back and forth between between overdrive and 3rd gear while cruising, when it gets warm it doesn't want to shift down into first gear at all and is a dog untill it cools down, and when it is cold it doesn't want to shift out of first gear occasionally. I'm thinking they installed a faulty solinoid pack but we will find out tomorrow.
Did they re-use old parts? Or did they just buy the cheapest replacements they could find?
not sure, they're saying it's my rear 02 sensor causing it, sayings the grounding out and causing the ecm to grundy out and cause the trans to read the wrong pressure, but at idle the trans is reading 0 psi while the 02 is reading like 14 volts. So they're not sure if it's mechanical or electrical at this point. I'm alittle upset
Sounds like they installed a "Turbo encabulator" LOL.
I think the O2 sensor is a way to blame your truck for their mistake. The O2 sensor didn't overfill the transmission or make the seal leak. Are you checking the level in neutral?

yeah I did before I took it back to them, they re checked it and pulled some out and it's on point to where it should be. The way they expand the 02 sensor is that it and the trans share the same ground path and since the 02 is grounding it it's also grounding the trans circuit I guess. Idk it's back at the shop with the transmission sitting on the bench
