Question Booster recall back Ordered?

Called my dealer a while back to schedule and was told parts were back ordered and that I was on the list for when they came in. Forgot about it for a couple months. Wife just reminded me. Is this a BS story or are they really that far out backordered? Going to call again in the AM but wanted to check with you all first. Thoughts?

I think the boosters are, but not the recall seal kit.


If they say 2 months, that is what they're being told as a release date. It might or might not be that long though.


If you have a good service advisor, they should call you when the part hits the door.

It is that long so far. Took my truck in for "recall" about three months ago now and still have not heard anything from dealer on the part's coming in.....Really sad they can call for a recall BEFORE the part's are available....maybe we should rethink this process????

I think they have a time frame where they have to notify you. As for the parts supply, someone didn't do their homework.

my dealer had everything in stock for 2013 crew..oil change and 2 recalls took 4 hours

My dealer was out of parts, but told me to check back in a week as Chrysler was shipping whenever they had parts available. Following week I got it repaired.

My dealer ordered mine and said it will be a few months (3).
