Default Superchips error code?

anyone get the E-43 error code "Vehicle File is Not Stock… Call Superchips! Use Code #E-43"? I removed my hypertech program successfully, and even plugged it back in and it says the vehicle is stock. but the SC wont accept it. I was thinking about disconnecting the battery for a while and see if that did anything, but I dont want to make things any worse. I want to use it damnit, i dont want to wait til monday to get an answer lol. guess I'll have to though.

looks like hypertech screwed you over by not returning to stock.

Here is a link in the flashpaq forums talking about the issue with Ron saying you need to go to a dealer and have em reflash it back to stock. I think thats usually around $60. http://www.flashpaq.com/forum/viewto...657625d53288a7

Here's a portion of a superchips manual thats speaks about the error and why its happening:

That completely blows man. Try reinstalling the hypertech, leaving it on for a minute. Start the truck and drive it around the block. Then uninstall it again, see if that helps.

Im talking out my butt right now though. Good luck man.

what a load of crap. the hypertech is back to stock. i have installed and uninstalled it, everything is fine. This whole SC thing is almost not worth it, except I need the tire size calibration from it. You guys have no idea how frustrating this is. Take it to the dealer and have them flash it???? wow. maybe somewhere it should say that this is a possibility when switching tuners. anyone with a diablo have this problem when switching?

well, I called SC today.....they said that its from the hypertech programmer leaving "footprints" on my stock program so the guy "guessed" that it needs to be flashed. The Hypertech guys want nothing to do with it, they said they wont help me try to install their competitors product, and nothing is wrong with their stuff, it returned everything back to stock and it must be something wrong with the SC tuner. oh well.

well, I talked to Travis over there at SC twice and he said there was nothing they could do. They didn't sound very interested in trying to help resolve it either. on top of that, I just found out that the Dodge dealer in town that wasnt supposed to close is closing tomorrow. yay. so theres only 2 dealers left, neither that I wish to deal with but i will in a week or so.
