Hey i have a 2003 dodge ram 1500 with the hemi and well lets just say nobody likes to unplug my truck before taking off. My block heater cord came unplugged from the block and i can't find where it plugs into and help would be great thanks.
I dont know exactly what side but there will probably be 4 frost plugs on either side of the block under the exhaust mainfolds.. Itll go into one of those, easiest to see from under the truck.. It shouldnt be hard to miss as long as you can see the side of the block, theres a good foot of snow outside so Im not gonna go lay under my truck.. sorry hope that helps a bit..
yes, its on the driver side toward the rear of the engine right next to the starter. look for the exhaust manifold...its right near the rear exhaust port
What kind of butthead designed a system where you have to crawl under the truck when it's cold? They couldn't just wire it up by the radiator somewhere? I would be permanently mounting an extension with a receptacle in a convenient place.
