Hello I have a 11 Ram 2500 Hemi and this morning it wouldn't start, I thought the fuel pump could b the issue but I called dodge and they said I could have an issue with the key? Anyone else run into this before ?

 

Need a bit more info on the non start issue. Does it turn over? How many miles? Anything done to it lately? Plugs good? Tune up been done? Battery good? CEL on? Can't read minds so you need to add a lot more detail.

Sure, it could be the security key. But I don't know how "Dodge" could diagnose that over the phone. 2011s are known for fuel pump failures.

 

The truck turns but it won't ignite almost like there is no fuel going to it. Dodge didn't diagnosed the truck over the phone the guy just told that would be a start as far as the key fob goes. The fuel pump is still in national back order and there is no tell when they can get it, I read the other thread and they r all talking about fuel pumps, so I figured I ll ask about the fob

 

The truck has 80k miles, battery is good and when I turn the key the motor just turns and turns but no ignition.

 

Well, it's simple enough to check. If you're getting power at the pump and not getting any pressure at the fuel rail, you pretty much know the fuel pump is fubar...

 

It's the fuel pump relay...had this exact same issue on my 2011 Durango. Fuel pump was replaced, problem remained...then the relay was replaced, problem went away.

 

Welcome to the forum, SCghostrider! There are a couple of flash update TSBs involving no start conditions that may be related to what you're experiencing. I would recommend having an FCA dealer check this out and referencing the TSBs, pasted below.
