Default Potential Good Deal?

A friend of mine is offering me his 2003 3500 Quad cab SWB with the 5.9 and a 6sp. He has a 4" turbo back and a k&n intake and a bully dog reprogammer. Dynoed at 905ft-lb. He wants to sell it to me for 11,500. The only downside is it has 180Kmiles. HIs job demands tons of driving, so they are all hwy miles.

Now that I have given you all the info, the main thing I need to know is if there are any problems I should look for mechanically.

Those engines are good for 300k miles. You should be good. Check the clutch, if you need to replace it, go to Southbend Clutch. They make great high preformance clutches.

Sounds like a good price being I read and add today for a 1995 2500 and they want $12,500 for the truck.

This guy has a dealer license, so he can get great deals on anything. He's a friend, so he's gonna pass the deal on to me.

The only thing that would make me hesitate is the bullydog programmer. Or any programmer for that matter. A stock engine that's been well maintained should go for 300K miles pretty easy. But how has this guy been driving his truck? I admit 11K sounds pretty good but that programmer and the question marks it raises would give me pause.
