The infamous Belltown Hellcat owner has been ordered to pay big money for his illegal acts, but still faces criminal charges as well.

Back in April, DodgeForum reported on social media influencer and Dodge Charger Hellcat owner Miles Hudson, who has risen to fame via his Instagram page srt_miles. There, Hudson posts photos of his car and the occasional video, many of which depict, well, things that aren’t exactly legal on public roads, whether that be disturbing the peace via its loud exhaust at night, excessive speeding, and even street racing. That has since made Hudson a bit of a legend on the internet – which has gifted him the moniker of “Belltown Hellcat,” given the fact that he lives in the Belltown area of Seattle – but that sort of attention isn’t always a good thing.

As one might imagine, certain local residents weren’t exactly thrilled with being woken up at all hours of the night by Hudson’s Belltown Hellcat and its rather loud exhaust system, while others – including law enforcement – didn’t take kindly to his many documented acts of reckless driving, either, having already pulled him over several times over the years. As a result, Hudson was charged with two counts of reckless driving in Seattle Municipal Court, which he pleaded guilty to and was subsequently released and ordered not to drive his vehicle or any vehicle, for that matter.

Facing the consequences…

If Hudson is found guilty on those charges, he could be facing a year in jail and up to a $5,000 fine, but that isn’t the extent of his current legal woes, according to Fox 13 news. Rather, Hudson was just fined $83,619.97 in a civil suit filed by the city of Seattle against the Belltown Hellcat owner, who showed up in court with his face fully covered and without a lawyer. It was a bizarre scene, apparently, which isn’t terribly surprising given what we know about Hudson and his social media antics.

When told he could speak by the judge, Hudson responded “Say what…?” and apparently didn’t do much to further his case, noting that he’s been communicating with city officials via email. As for the Charger Hellcat itself, his mother, Rebecca, reportedly at least co-owns the car now, though it continues to make appearances on her son’s Instagram page. In the meantime, Hudson’s criminal charges are still pending, so he’s certainly not out of legal hot water yet – and this rather fascinating saga will continue for the foreseeable future as a result.
