Black & Yellow Challenger SRT 392 Stings the Competition

Dodge Challenger SRT 392

Canadian ‘Killer Bee’ Challenger SRT 392 rolls with a bad ass crew on the rough streets of Toronto, leaves everyone else in the dust.

The Challenger isn’t like the other pony cars. While the Mustang and Camaro are off chasing down Porsches, the big, buff horse gallops across highways and quarter-miles with a thunder not even the Kentucky Derby can match. It also can comfortably seat four, a trick the little ponies with their tiny seats can’t do.

Thus, the stout stallion has more than a few fans. One of them is a Canadian (by way of the Philippines) Instagrammer who goes by the handle srt392killerbee. As the name implies, he has a Challenger SRT 392 that’s all black-and-yellow and ready to sting all other challengers.

Under the hood of his 2017 Challenger is, of course, the 392 Hemi V8. The 6.4-liter behemoth is linked to the rear through a six-speed manual, and was purchased around January 13, 2019, the date he opened his account.

One of the first mods he made was to the exhaust. Out went the stock units, in went a Flowmaster Outlaw catback system to allow the Hemi to sing the song of its people for miles around. The setup was paired up front with a Flowmaster Delta Force performance air intake for improved breathing.

Some time later, the stock rear spoiler was swapped out for a more aggressive tail, accented by the rear diffuser between the Flowmasters. It also gained rear louvers, big “SRT” stickers on the rear quarter panels, an adjustable front spoiler, a new set of black wheels, painted engine covers, and a Barton shifter in black with yellow text.

The big mod, though, was to the Hemi itself. First, the owner opted for a mid-muffler delete, followed by a new set American Racing headers. The result on the dyno is 499 horses and 454 lb-ft of torque to the rear.

Bad Company of Toronto

He and his Challenger don’t roll alone, though. The Instagrammer founded a crew in May of 2019, Bad Company of Toronto. His crew includes a red 2016 Charger SRT 392, a white Challenger SXT Plus, a C7 Corvette, and even a yellow Shelby GT350.

The crew may be Canadian, but the Stars & Stripes proudly fly all over the streets of Toronto, all led by a black-and-yellow killer bee.
