‘Chonky’ Redeye Challenger Hellcat Widebody Looks Evil as Ever

Widebody Redeye 2020 Dodge Challenger 3D Rendering

3D artist shares his take on the Redeye Challenger featuring some massive over fenders and wide wheels specs, and it looks incredible.

No car is safe from substantial modifications, no matter how new it is. This is especially true when it comes to talented 3D artists that are present throughout social media. Many of their photos will leave you wondering whether or not the images are actual cars. Most of the time, they aren’t. They’re just that good!

Auto Evolution brought this masterpiece to our attention. Instagram artist Timothy Emmanuel drafted this crazy Redeye into perceived reality. Though it isn’t real, we imagine somebody will bring at least some portion of this idea to life. The smooth matte finish highlights the sharp body lines of the widened over fenders and side skirts. Additionally, the hood features a massive scoop, as well as two back-facing vents.

A Redeye Dodge Challenger is already pretty wide, so something like this would make it almost unimaginable. To fill out the fender width, both sets of wheels feature some insanely wide tires. While camber isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, this render doesn’t go over the top with it. It’s also worth noting that this setup would likely be on air-ride suspension, so it wouldn’t exactly be track ready in this format.

Though the Redeye isn’t quite as potent as the outgoing Dodge Demon, it is still a madhouse of a machine. We have become a little spoiled when we have to say “only” before spitting out that the Redeye makes 797 horsepower. Sure, it isn’t the 840 that the Demon came with, but this serves a different purpose. The Redeye is a far more practical car than the Demon ever could be.

Which, again, is a little bit absurd to think about, considering the crazy horsepower still at hand. It looks every bit as exciting as the Demon but allows more creature comforts like, you know, a passenger seat as a standard delivery item. With the right tire setup, these things will be putting down some great quarter-mile times as well.

Though the loss of the Demon is a bit sad, we think this one is helping to ease the pain. Especially if things like this excellent render keep coming out. We look forward to seeing the crazy projects people will make out of these badass Challengers!
