Dream Giveaway Demon Slayer HellScat

Dream Giveaway is gonna make car enthusiasts’ heads explode with latest contest.

Everybody knows about the Dodge Demon. When the 840-horsepower beast was announced, muscle car fans were in awe that Dodge was releasing such a powerful vehicle to the general public. Soon after, there were cries from car aficionados that maybe this vehicle was somehow too powerful for your average car buyer. Because of the power under the hood, somehow the Demon was just inherently dangerous. Well, these people are not going to be too happy with what Dream Giveaway has cooked up.

Dream Giveaway, which in 2015 built a 800-horsepower Hellcat X, is back again with what it is calling the “Demon Slayer.” Dream Giveaway has taken a 2017 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat and modified it to deliver a whopping 1,000-plus horsepower and 1,000 lb-ft of torque in controlled testing. Best of all, they’re giving it away in a contest, along with a 1970 Hemi Dodge Challenger R/T and $45,000 to go towards the taxes on the prizes. Altogether, this is a muscle car enthusiast’s, ahem, dream giveaway. Best of all, to enter for a chance to win, all you have to do is make a donation to a worthy charity, and a minimum donation is $3.

“Giving away the fastest muscle car ever was just the starting point for the gearheads at Dream Giveaway Garage,” says the company. “Our 800 hp Hellcat X was a phenomenal success in 2015, and Mopar fans have been waiting for two years for us to follow it up with something even more extreme. And now the cat is back, and one lucky winner will take home the only Dodge Challenger HellScat in the world.”

So, how did the Dream Giveaway Garage create a Dodge with four-digit engine performance? Named after the Dodge Scat Pack racing team of the late ‘60s and early ‘70s, the HellScat is sporting a new 4.5-liter Whipple supercharger, which gives the already fast car that extra bit of power. Also, the HellScat comes with a heavy-duty driveshaft courtesy of Drive Shaft Shop and Nitto drag radials.

While those parts are what gives the car its power and performance, drag racing fans might be even more excited about the fact that NHRA legend “Big Daddy” Don Garlits personally tested the car and gave the HellScat his seal of approval, in the form of an autograph.

Taking home the ridiculously overpowered HellScat, the 1970 Challenger, and $45,000 is probably well worth the cost of entering the contest. You can sleep well at night knowing your money is benefitting a good cause. The giveaway benefits New Beginning Children’s Homes, which is a charity that provides family-style long-term residential care to foster children.
