Question of the Week: Is the Challenger Hellcat the Greatest Performance Bargain Ever?

2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Supercharged

We have learned that the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat with 707 horsepower and 650lb-ft of torque will start at $59,995 – making it substantially less expensive than the other cars on the list of the most production powerful vehicles in the world. It is also less expensive than the mid- and upper-level Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, the Camaro Z/28 and the mighty SRT Viper…even though it offers far more power than any of those models.

With all of that in mind, we come to our question of the week – is the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat the greatest high performance bargain of the modern era? Is it the best bargain in the history of the muscle car ever?

You can certainly make a case for the Hellcat Challenger being the best bargain ever – especially for vehicles with greater than 700 horsepower – but we want to know what our members think. Click here to head into the forum to tell us whether you think the Hellcat Challenger is the best bargain for a high performance car ever and if not, what is?
