Super-Rare Hemi Cuda Convertible is Expected to Fetch Millions!
Auction house Mecum estimates a $6 million sale for this one-of-a-kind Hemi Cuda, but is it worth the price of admission?
Here’s one that’s about to reset the Mopar record books. Mecum reckons this super-rare ’71 Plymouth Hemi Cuda Convertible will make a six million dollar sale when it comes under the auction house’s gavel at the Indianapolis Indiana State Fairgrounds next week. Six million dollars? Yip — six million dollars.

What makes a Plymouth worth Ferrari money?
So, what makes this albeit most desirable Plymouth worth Ferrari money? Well, it’s one of the last of any real muscle cars ever to roll off the production line for starters. Within days of it being shipped, the ravages of the fuel crisis set in. To which knee-jerk culled everything from muscle cars to motor racing.
Then this was also one of only twelve ’71 Hemi Cuda Convertibles built. Even better, it’s one of just three stick-shift manuals ever made, it’s still original and it’s driven less than 60,000 miles.
