speaker set up q's
Well a 600 watt 2 channel is 300 watts over the 280 watt rating and I DOUBT that they are truly rated at that per speaker ... That would blow almost any tweet I can think of ...
Off this topic but speaker related. Anyone have any tips to keep trunk from rattling? I dynomatted mine up but I cant do anything to stop rattle coming from area of trunk latch mechanism.since it is open area and I cant put anything over it or trunk wont shut
have you checked the tail (fin or whatever), mine rattles some and i tightened it and it kinda helped. but i dont have any hush mat or anything yet. dont know about the latch though, that would be really annoying to listen to.

Also check the cable trunk release I've seen it rattle also ...
Other major rattle points are the tension/torsion bars underneath the rear deck ... you can use foam pipe insulation to wrap them and prevent rattling...
The spoiler mentioned above can cause it also same fix as the trunkplastic ...
