Default 3.0 lifters make noise

I have a lifter tick, pretty loud when I start my car in the morning. Only happens when it's cold outside, have not noticed it during the summer and nice fall days. Is there anything I can do to get rid of it? It disappears after a minute, but still!

If you have 40K miles I'd suggest an Oil Flush since you have no idea the oils ect used in it before you swapped ...

I use Mobil full synth, engine has 18K now on it. I know that oil makes difference, just need to shop around and see what works best. Changed oil about 1K ago. Will try different oil and maybe some oil additives to see what happens! And will defenately wait till spring to see what's up inside (cold outside even with 80000 Btu heater, nut risking CO poisoning).
Thanks bad venge

Before your next oil change, put 1 qt of atf in the motor and drive for 2 miles and change the oil and filter. I would 10/30 oil.
