CPS is on drivers side of engine near battery tray ...

the paper is a spacer , how did he space it ?
If it was too close it could be hit/damaged too far it won't pick up correctly

he said he pushed it all the way down? is that good or bad? if bad how should it be installed

As mentioned the cardboard IS the spacer you put it in on the sensor tighten it and the spacer will fall out

ok i orderd new spacers and got a new CPS.. put the spacer on tightened it all the way down. and still nothing car cranks but wont start
