Default alternators

ok god dang alternator went the first time just from old age....now this one the dang bearing blew out.....stupid autozone duralast crap.......so once again lets have the suggestions on the best way to get her outv there.....last time it took me 5 hrs when i attacked it from the top....that blew......ne suggestions would be greatly appreciated

just replaced mine yesterday!!! took 2 1/2 from the bottem do you have v6 or what??i have the 2 . slow

yea iv decided 2 try the bottom this time.....just need 2 get a 12mm wrench 2 remove i guess its the tensioner pulley so i can get more leverage.....i have the v6 version......howd u get the top bolt out.....just a long 5/8 wrench?

it is a two person job putting it back on though i dont see how you did it by your self the first time i did it with my pops.

it was hard but i got it done .....like i said it took my sum 5 hrs.....so far comming from the bottom is way easier.....i prolly would have it done by now had i had a 12mm wrench but since mines lost i had 2 stop

ok now im pissed i tighted the top bolt on way too tight n cant break it loose......not enough leverage......nebody have suggestions b4 i just torch the mother heffer off.....or mayb get rid off the car n crush it with a crane

use a pipe on the end of your wrench, usually does it. either that or the old mechanics trick, where you use another wrench and get it in there so it acts as an extention...dont know how to explain it tho
