Default shifter help

i cant seem to get the short throw in the cylinderbearing wont go in that hole any suggestions on installation how did you do it? thanks

You lost me bro, are you saying that the shifter's pivot rod won't fit onto or into the shifter bracket thing?

you know the purple bracket i think the bearing looking thing wont fit into the purple thing and i cant figure out how to put it all together i dunno but i wanna get it in quick cuz it looks like it should fit but doesnt

Hey Brian, are you talking about that bearing that goes into the purple bracket?

Are you using all of the new shifter parts?

You probably already have the instructions but just incase, RRE has the install procedures for a 2G Eclipse. These shifters in these Mitsu/DCX cars are really similar, so you're should be close to, if not the same.

yes the bearing does not fit into the purple braket and it looks like it should fit right in

I don't think I ever touched my bearings. I think mine were already "stuck" inside. I don't remember, it's been awhile since I played with mine. I will play with it either later on today or tomorrow though. I apparently didn't put enough loctite or something and I've got more play on the shifter now, so I've got to mess with it a bit [>:] I'll let you know what I can figure out for you bro.
