What you hate about your Dakota.
88 was not a great year for the dodge truck engines. both of my trucks have carbureted LA block engines and have plenty of power.
what i hated about mine when i had it...
-poor ventalation on front and rear fender flares...rusted fender lips under the plastic!!!-truck looked good but under the plastic!
-ground clearance for a 4x4
-ugly woodgrain dash panel(painted black)
-the crappy plastic center caps on the 15's (tabs broke easy)
-the exspensive 3.90 rear end! (gears went out)

I just got a 95 dakota last week. v6 4x4. I hate the squeal that the belt makes. Didnt make noise when I test drove it but halfway home started making noise. Picked up a serp belt on way home. went to change it and noticed tensioner was seized. replaced belt and tensioner. a few days later noise came back. cleaned up all pulleys and replaced belt with a dayco one. noise went away for a day. seen tensioner was moving alot so put another one on. noise still there. finally figured out it was the ac compressor. I also hate the small cupholders. if you make them bigger couldnt you attach rubber to it like other cupholders have to hold the small cups and also allow large ones to fit? just an idea.
HAHAHAHA Thats awesome, I hate the cupholders, and that my truck makes new noises everyday , and one **** off i had a socket in there for my tires and it got lost in between the cab i think it fell through behind my seat and every corner I go arounds I can hear it roll everywhere it is so annoying but ill never be able to get it out

the horn is annoying, i have a nice sounding truck and when i lay on the horn it sounds like its comin out of some little rice burner, only if i could find the dukes of hazzard whistlin dixie horn
