What are your future plans for your Dak?
Immediate plans:
Fix the fuel gauge - new fuel pump was installed before I got the truck, gauge worked before that, won't work now.
New tires
An alignment (has a slight pull to the right)
Address a "rattle" in front of the engine somewhere...pulley maybe? I don't know.
Cat. converter has a small rattle sometimes. May be a hanger. Not sure.
Plugs, wires, PCV valve....general tuning.
Eventual plans:
New paint
New audio system (nothing fancy, just good sound)
Things here & there.

Post up some pics when it is done.
After last winter, snow plow. Tried to find a used one but they all have big blades here. Have found two daks allready equipped but the trucks were too far gone. Considering our Dak. (Mrs. Newbie's baby), is an 89 with a 3.9 I just bought a 94 extended cab in pretty good shape. V-8 lower gear ratio. Clear coat is shot, hood and roof, and headliner has cuts in it. Mrs. Newbie wants to re-clear and paint the insulation under the liner. Dont think either will work properly. I have to raise the 94, figure torsion bar adjustment front, another leaf rear. Oh ya after having my 2004 Dak. killed by three deer, horns.

sometime in spring i hope to have 3 inch pipes with maybe a flowmaster 40 to dule tailpipes. a m1 intake a set of tires and to get that stupid little chrome air filter off of it and go back to stock (just need a buck fifty for a new one).
i'd like to rhino line the bed and reclear it just under the rails on the side of the bed.

Any one out there read that one of the bright ones in the Va. house has initated a new law that aftermarket exhaust will be illegal, (depth of is all exhaust systems have to be factory stock)? read this one in a hot rod mag. Bet this law goes the way of the lifted trucks one.
The best part of the fog lights mentioned is they were on the truck when we looked at it and bought it. When we returned with the flat bed to haul it home the lights were gone and the ah insisted they were not there. Mrs. wanted that truck so badly she didn't care.
Short Term:
1. Install my air horn kit (My stock horn sounds like a dying cow)
2.Accel Coil
3. Jet Accu Speed Unit (speedo is off cuz of the tires)
4. KC lights for my rollbar
Long-Term
1.Roller Rockers
2.Oil cooler
3.Trailmaster suspension kit
4. Grant Steering Wheel

You can swap the speedo gear. It is very simple. Just in case you didn't see my post on the other thread here it is.
