cranked the torsion bars some the other day. just out of curiosity are there any shocks you can buy for front and back to give some lift?

shocks dont give lift springs or torsion bars do. when you hear about shocks in the catalog for "lift" they are longer and have to be used with other forms of lift kits. shocks do have alot to do with stiffness or bouncyness though and keeping the tire planted to the road along with helping prevent certain kinds of tire wear like cupping

okay thanks my dad was for some reason thinking putting off road shocks on it to replace the worn originals would give it a tiny lift.

put the new K&N intake on it loving it so far.

Added oil and topped off all the fluids, cleaned all the gunk out of my coolant overflow tank, and replaced the shot temp sending unit with the old style sender and now have a working temp gauge again after 4 years

i reinstalled the remaining brake lines on the dakota and picked up some minor parts to install tomorrow.

lady at the hardware store told me that they dont sell grade 8 bolts when in fact they do considering i pulled a couple off the shelf and have been buying them from that store for years.

Used mine to load up my project tractor for this winter and take it down to the shop to figure out the clutch noise I can't track down...
Thankfully my gf got a kick out of this and took a pic of my friend (her brother) and I loading it.

PS: It was moving under its own power, he was there just in case to aid in the breaking.
