Default Plenum gasket

Half @$$ kegger mod 🤔?? I saw this after I took my intake off. Hope it doesn't hurt my performance any

It actually helps a bit with performance. Moves the power band up a 100 rpm or so, and unshrouds the runners.

whats going on here? about to do plenum gasket myself is this worth it?

While open, consider some Volume Reduction Plates (VRPs) ... see Kegger VRP - UTAWESOME PERFORMANCE

The "Kegger Mod" shortens the runners, moving the power band up a bit, and removing the center divider, supposedly improves flow. On the older trucks, that have EGR, it's a little more interesting. On the newer trucks that didn't have that egr tube inside the intake, Dodge eventually did away with the center divider as well. I think 96 and up trucks didn't have EGR. (at least, on the magnum engines.... 4.7 and 5.7 are a completely different animal.)

Well that's useful to know, it seems like every time I start digging into my little ole truck I find something new
