Unhappy 1989 Dakota Sport convertible Part Needed!

SOS! 1989 Dodge Dakota Sport Convertible needed a new fuel pump. Got everything (hoses, clamps, etc.) so far, and tank, off, pump out....HOWEVER the hose-type mechanical clamp holding the fuel pump in the tank is shot, rusted, fubared. ANYONE out there know where I can get a replacement? Or a substitute? Thanks In Advance -- (Dodge person, besides the Dak-Vert had TWO Dodge Stealths, a 1994 RT and a 1994 Twin Turb.

Any auto parts store? Just get a screw clamp of the right caliber, and call it a day.

Here it is in all its rusted non-glory. If I can't get an OEM or after-market, I'll cut a hose clamp and either spot weld it or rivet it together. Tank does not used the nylon lock nut. Tank has a lip as does the fuel pump holder. Curved clamp brings it all together.

That looks a lot like the same clamp they use for the air filter housing to throttle body on the 2nd gen trucks.....

So THAT'S what it is!! Found what I needed on EBay. Seller called it: "94-01 Dodge RAM 1500 2500 3500 5.2L 5.9L Air Intake airbox clamp thorttle body". Diameter is 5-3/4 inches. Just the problem of knowing the correct nomenclature! Thanks Bunches to Moparite and HeyYou!!

It Worked! New hoses, clamps, filter, etc. Pressure washed and rinsed with de-natured alcohol. Now comes the fun part! Throttle body clamp shows cut-out in circle, the only difference from original clamp.

I think that's for proper alignment on the throttle body. So long as it doesn't leak, don't worry about it.
