im just wondering if 1991 wire harness is compatible with a 91 dakota wire harness from a 3.9L, or if i just have to change it all out to the wire harness from a 318

 

idk, but my guess is that you would have to switch it.

not sure with the tbi engines, on the mpi engines all you have to do is add two more injector wires, try looking at a wiring diagram for it and see whats different between the v6 and v8 trucks.

 

thats what iv been looking for and i havn't found anything on it yet, but i figured if its tbi then it would work and maybe run a few new wires from the fuse block, but if its just less of a pain to swap harness's then thats what ill just do, i have a 318 and a 360 with the tranny and both harness's, and if i can stuff the 360 in it then im going to

 

On a dakota a 91 is TBI,why would you have to change the harness.Just change the computer,and use the distributor the comes with the v8. As was pointed out if it was a 91 ram you would need to add two wires with the computer
