I have a Durango and have removed the bolts from the bell housing, but I'm still finding it difficult to remove the engine. Do I need to remove bolts from the flywheel, and if so, HOW?

Righty tighty, lefty loosey.

For trans bolts with 'limited access', I remove the rear cross member, support the end of the trans on a jack, or something similar, lower the trans down so I can get a shot at the trans bolts with a long extension, and a wobble socket. It's actually almost 'easy' that way. (an impact wrench makes it even easier..... but, does give you the ability to toss bolts a GREAT distance once they come loose.

Is there an access panel on the floor in the cab to get at the bellhousing bolts. Thanks.

Nope. What I do, is pull the trans crossmember, lower the trans a bit, and use a long extension to get those bolts.

You will need to disconnect the shifter linkage before you drop the trans. I would also remove the crank sensor to prevent damage.
