I edited your post. Use the IMG tag links. Like this. [IMG ]http://i131 photobucket[/IMG]

Where did you get the blacked out headlight covers. I know other members would love those.
here is a web site that you can find these headlight and tail light covers:http://www.streetperformance.com/par...0-gt0927s.html, and http://www.nopi.com/dsp_part_detail....d=97&vpcid=075

The headlight covers part # is GT0927S and the tail light covers are GT013
as you can google them as I just did and I found a couple on Amozon and ebay, Jegs, and Summit. they all run about 50.00-65.00 bucks

i would definitely love to have one of those hoods for mine
I found them on ebay and other web sites. But they are getting real hard to find now as those add-ons are now being produced no more so if you find them pick them up as you cant buy these things for this truck no more. And the running boards came off of a Dakota Mark 3 edition and those you can not find anywhere at all. I have 3 sets of them that I found over the years along with 4 or 5 sets of side window covers and rain vents and headlight and tail light covers.

The hood I bought from AAR Fiberglass/Stinger out of Florida that ran me 589.00 plus shipping too Wisconsin

nice Dakota, I really like that one. I have 4 sets of those wheels and my advise is go with the 15" ones as the ones on my truck are 14" and I had too shave the caliper down abot an 1/8" too make them work witch voids warrenty on the calipers. It looks like you have the razzi ground affect kit on there.

I have a couple sets of each but ya that sux that your trans was out. I have all these xtra parts as I am building another Dakota that Dodge never did. Dodge made the regular cab in the short and long box (6.5 foot and 8 foot) and the extended cab short but they never made it a long box so that is what my other project is. I cut my other dakota in half and welded a long box to it and it comes out too be a 143" wheel base witch is 2 feet longer. I have some pics of it together before I took it all the way down to the frame to do a total restore on it. I will get them posted soon.

To me a truck is a truck, and the Bed is what makes a truck. The more hauling space from a long box is what is needed at times.

Im assuming it would have to be.
a standard cab + longbox dak has the same frame as an extended cab + shortbox, there isnt anything longer, and the front of the bed (right behind the cab) is where the extra length is.

i was just thinking about this the other day. having a longbed would be very nice......
