wow, the timing of this thread is impeccable. I just so happened to decide to start poking around at custom bumper ideas. today I got rear ended and did in my (already) sad looking, cancer'd rear bumper. now i have an excuse to toss in some tow hooks/eyes, and I kinda like that tire rack design.

I was going to build up a spare tire carrier and tool holder for the back. I was going to get one off of a bronco and install it and make it removable. I accully was able to stuff my spare 33 under the truck.

i dont think a 38 would fit under it, and it would be a pain to try and man-handle in and out(guess how much they weigh in the other thread Crazy). im loving the bumper mount idea .

Slightly on and off topic but I would be greatly interested in some new chrome factory bumpers particularly the rear. Anyone know of somewhere to get one or both without signing a mortgage?

another off topic.. this goes out to blue.
Im like 90% sure im going to go with 35" tires.. I got 4" lift total.. seeing you got 6".. is that it?.. Im wondering how much cuttin did you have to do to the fenders to clear?.. and if so any pics?.. I did cut some off the back of the front fender.. as that is the closest place.. but cant really go back any further due to the body mount right there., any other ideas if they dont clear as well as I hope.
