leak!!!
so every where i park my truck will leak a drop or two from the front main seal. not alot but consistant. im not in the mood to do a main seal happen right now is there any preventive additive that may stop/slow the drip. it just started doing this in the last week after a oil change.

oh come on now i might be new to the forum but im not that dumb. i worked at a oil change shop for a year. its not the rear main seal its contained to the very front of the oil pan just behind the bottom pully wheel.
look for "lucas heavy duty oil stabalizer", use what you think it about right for sealing the seal. it recommends no more than 60% of the bottle tho.
3.9 sorry i wasnt tryin to be snappy.
i went to car quest and did just that i put some sealer in and got back from driving around after putiting the lucas in and i relise that what is dropping in my drive way is not oil but coolant. its dripping from the front of the engine and its not from the thermostat area .
head gasket?
what else can i check before i tear into it?

Check water pump and the little hose behind the water pump (if you can see in there good enough), and the metal tube. I had a leak in this area and the fan blew it all over, was not obvious right away as to where it was coming from.

but also make sure its not coming from behind the water pump pulley. when mine went, thats where the problem had started. if it is coming from behind there, replace the water pump ASAP (i didnt, and my water pump literally blew up when i was warming up the engine one morning...)
