Do you have some pics on how they came out? How did you mount them up was it easy? Did you need to fab up brakets or anything? Does it cover them up completly? I just wanted to know incase mine ever die out. The junkyard is much cheeper than new units.

here they are, as you can see i have to remove the belt to get it in there, it is actully upside down compared to how it was in the intrepid, but fit the radiator perfect!

I was wondering. . . . . .
What fan from the junkyard or even new could be put in my Dakota after i get a 318?

you will have to do the swap to see, there are 1000's of sizes to choose from

Yea but it would have to fit in front of the radiater and behind the air conditioner's smaller radiater (dont know what its called), i dont know how much space there is but i think theres at least 2 inches, probably more

there are little tabs where it is mounted on the car that fit over the metal coming from the sides of the radiator. drilled some holes and screwed it up there. i dont do the pull trough radiator things

So is there a secert way to take the fan of to put the eletric one on

Just remove the Giant nut that holds it on the water pump. It is regular thread and it is something like a 34mm wrench. And to hold the pump pulley it is best to get a special tool. Lots of posts on the tool. You can try doing a search or I may have put it in the FAQ2 section.
