I've been thinking about how to paint the new truck. For those of you who remember, I had come up with an orange paint scheme a while back. Its between that and this (the new "snakeskin green" available on the viper):

For those of you who don't remember, here's the orange (in reality, it will be the new challenger orange, although thats hard to match exactly in photoshop)...

The hood will have this layout regardless of the color...

Lol, photoshop. There's nothing fast about an all-over paint job!

Engine/Drivetrain:
Built 408 stroker with a Tremec T56 6 speed manual behind it and chrylser 9.25 inch posi rear axle with disc brakes.

Frame/Body:
2 inch drop spindles in the front and I'm swapping shackle mounts with my 4x4. 6 point rollcage that starts under the dash, goes to the back of the cab, and then out the back window (I'm going to replace the rear glass with plexiglass) to the back of the bed. Also a fuel cell in the front of the bed with a hard tonneau cover over the bed (the roll cage will go through that too). I'm also looking at a 5 point harness to replace the seatbelts.

Damn!, so this things only going to be a dragracer or is it actually going to be street legal with plexiglass and a complete roll cage, and whats the reason for lowering it?, does it help with handaling or wind resistance? or drag or what ever the hell they call it if your goin to be drag racing it
