Ummm... everything I'm doing is thoroughly explained in my project write up thread...

But to answer the question, no, I am definately not doing that kind of suspension setup!!! That looks to me like its nothing but a glorified set of ladder bars, which SUCK! Ladder bars may be good for low-travel suspension like a race car, but nobody should have ever adopted the idea for a high-travel 4x4 suspension. The problem with them is they don't give you any control over the pinion angle through the range of articulation. 3 and 4 links do give you that control over pinion angle as the suspension articuates.

I'm doing a custom 3 link...

I am honestly pretty jealous... A$$HOLE. jk

Seeing people do stuff like this to our trucks just keeps the ideas flowing and sets the bar.

Hey, Felipe... how 'bout that ground clearance?! I think your truck might fit under mine when I'm done!! JK!!

But seriously, I'm not writing this way too long write up just to show off what I'm doing... hopefully I'll get one of you guys to finally give in and start a similar swap.

Thats a good industry to train in too!! My truck would still look like this if I hadn't worked a few years at that body shop...

I would totally do one following your successful formula. My main concern is cost and downtime. After I redo and complete my body work theres a whole list of custom fabrication and modifications in the works.

LOL! Not my whole truck. Maybe just my tire!!
Measure your height of your frame like under the door handle. I want to see where yours is.

The more details you post the better.

And yes those 35's look small. Like 31's.

Yeah, I love it. I've been training since Jan. It's my life now and I'm dead set on it. And to think it all started with my dak and this forum!

Lol, that was a joke... :P

From the ground to the bottom of the frame rail under the door handle is 24 inches. Its 55 inches from the ground to the bottom of the door handle.
