Need help on 95 dakota
Hey i just got a 95 Dakota,V8,4 by 4. I am having issues with the front brakes. sometimes they will brake on their own. it happens randomly. when i brake its like they don't release and sometimes when i am driving on the freeway they lock up harder and harder. when i pull over and turn truck off and restart it will go fine again. so someone please help me get this resolved i would greatly appreciate it, thank you

Yikes! I thought my truck was possessed. They only thing I can think of is that your calipers are not releasing the pads completely and as the pads heat up doing highway speeds, they expand and seem to apply themselves. When you pull over and turn the truck off, things cool off and contract back to somewhat normal and you can go on your merry way. I would start with the calipers.

The booster will leak vacuum if it overpressurizes. I would doubt thats the issue.
You say he put new calipers and pads? Have you verified that? Ie, have you checked them yourself? I would start by making sure the parts are new, correctly installed, and bled properly. Check your rotors for a rainbow color, indicating overheating due to drag. Warping could also be present.

well the guy i got the truck off is my uncle and i asked him again and the parts look new. it only does it when the truck get warm. i dont see any burn on rotor but it is eating away the pad and scratching the rotor....... is the vacuum hose the big hose going to it, it looked fine to me.

Im 90% possitive you need to flush the brake lines and replace the master cylinder, I had the exact same problem on a 96 dakota. I replaced the calipers and brake lines and it still stuck(front brakes only). Seems that the owner before me was using bad fluid and it swelled the seals. After flushing the system with good fluid and replacing the master cylinder, I havent had any trouble in 10k miles
