Thats not axle wrap though. Axle wrap is when you put too much torque and are getting too much traction for the leaves to handle. Equal and opposite forces... the wheels are trying to turn so the axle winds up the leaves in the other direction pointing the pinion up. Then it hits a point where the wound up springs unwind and it "hops" and winds up again and repeats that until you take your foot off the gas or something breaks.

Alright, the truck blew a rear brake line, so its getting a new diff. sooner than later.
Got it in the garage today. took the box off
started unbolting the rear end
Gotta wait for the new U bolts as well as cheap rear shocks ( to cheap to replace the new ranchos right now) for the blocks im putting in.
Going to get rid of that **** RABS valve on the frame and all the extra junk i dont need.
I have some pictures coming. I'll post em up as soon as i get them!

Lol, thats why its called antilock brakes... they aren't supposed to lock up!
Trust me... a little over a year ago I did the 9.25" rear axle swap on my truck. Me and a buddy of mine knocked it out in about 5 hours on a saturday (had to line up and weld the perches on, so it took a while). We did the work at the shop I was working at at the time, and the only thing we didn't get done is splice the ABS sensors together so I'd have ABS. Of course it was raining that afternoon when I drove the truck home, and without ABS, I could not keep the truck from sliding. It was either don't stop, or slide, there was no inbetween. Having the rear end swing out on you as you come to a red light is not as fun as it sounds!

Okay... so today was a **** show.
ran the brake line. Welded up the exhaust, NO MORE LEAKS!
Then it was a mess.... I'm not going to be putting the 3.5 in blocks in the back... this was a wallet in mind build... the e-brake cables wont work.. i cant find long enough shocks ( not sure how but it happened) i was going to mod some full sized to fit it...
there was something else too.... forget right now..
But. what I am doing is adding another 1 ton leaf hah, and a 1/2 inch block... everything will fit/reach. so it will be sitting level and not drop ***...
RABS valve is gone..
Gotta get new bolts for the center of the springs...
and then bolt it up. hook the brake line up install all the new brakes on the diff, fill it. bleed brakes
pics are still MIA...
