The 3in is not made anymore and not sold anywhere. Your only chance to find one is used try www.ebay.com or www.craiglist.org or your local newspaper or local swap meets.

blocks are blocks for the most part. But my guess is you would have to do some hunting because the rest of the hardware might now work out just right. ie. bolts might not be long enough, any needed extensions may not be included, etc

I would just go with a 2", but if your set on a 3", I would order a 2" kit and then fab up a 1" spacer and then get longer bolts. maybe even get 2 2" kits and cut the blocks from one in half. just throwing out ideas.

Hockey puck lift? wouldnt be the first one!

X2, you would need to get the correct bolts, 4wd shifter extention, steering column extention and if auto a spacer for the shifter linkage. i can get measurements from mine.

the only issue my buddy and i ran into with the 3" lift was with the stock fan. it hit the lower radiator hose and both tranny cooler lines. luckily he had a smaller diameter fan the had more fins and it actually sat a 1/4" closer to the radiator, i will double check with him and see what it was off of. it had the same threads so i didnt need the swap the blades out

You can buy 3" blocks alone on ebay for about 3$ each.

You can buy bolts that will work at your local ace hardware or farm supply store. The main fab work would be in the steering shaft or the bumper lift brackets.

I will be lifting the dakota I just bought after I get it driving again and I'll make a thread with some pictures and with the problems I run into, if any..

Does a body lift kit complete come with a bumper relocating bracket, steering and shifter extensions, etc? All for like $100? Or do you always have to fab the extensions?

im not sure if you get everything or not in the 2" kit

you wont need new bumper brackets for the front. just need to reposition and drill new holes.

im getting measurements to get the extension pieces needed for a 3" body lift made up to possibly offer 3" kits
