sorry made a mistake on this one, the 10 inch brakes have a hook on them that twists into a square hole in the rear shoe. the 9 inch must have the clips (never seen them) but i found clips left over in the kit. my guess is the kit is for 10 and 9 brakes, at least the one i bought, so your going to have left over parts.
