NICE! Love it! I saw your website on your tuck. For others here it is with more details. http://www.khaoskustoms.ca/aspx/blob...x/msgid/443167
I will post the link in the FAQ2 for others. We also got a few more Dakota Diesel swaps.

thanks guys. I really love the little 4BT in my truck. Currently it's putting 200hp and 450ft/lbs torque to the rear wheels. My best 1/4 mile time has been 15.09 at 88mph. It pulls my holiday trailer easily, get way better fuel economy then the old 318 did and it's a blast to drive!!!

How do the frame, drivetrain and suspension hold up to the high torque?

And what kind of fuel economy does it get?

So far the front diff has held together. Which I'm very surprised about. I've blown a couple front cv axles. The trany is out of a 94 dodge diesel, it's been built and should be good for 400hp. Stock Dakota t-case. So far no problems with it. Rear diff's been good, no problems either. Frame, well, I bent it slightly sled pulling with it. The truck is apart right now for me to straighten it and box in the back half. The torsion bars are a little weak and I can't fit a sway bar on the front anymore. I see fuel economy from 15-17mpg pulling my trailer, 21-25mpg in town driving and 27-30mpg on the highway cruisin.

None of that surprises me! I saw the picture of the sled pulling on your website which is why I asked about the frame! These frames aren't very stiff.

You should swap in a solid front axle and forget about having to replace cvs. A 3/4 ton drivetrain would make that the sickest Dakota I've ever seen!
