Did something stupid, Need help!

Good point to add in Den. certainly not something to rule out. Getting under the truck and inspecting that lower radiator hose up to the engine would probably be my first inspection of it were me. Make sure the hose doesn't feel rotted or loose or anything.

Yeah. Make sure the torque on your water pump bolts are good. Since it's coming from such a large area, makes it seem like it's coming from a large component (water pump, reservoir or radiator). Since it's only coming on when the system's under pressure (not a constant leak), I'd say water pump.
The fact that it was spraying up onto the windshield makes it sound like the fan was blowing it back.

honestly man, it doesn't look like its TOO difficult to do. I'll try and get the procedures up for you. basically you take the fan assembly off, leave it all together (the fan and the viscous drive) remove tension on the belt to take it off, remove the pulley and remove the pump. obviously you have to remove hoses and drain the system and such (per the FSM) but it doesn't look super involved. Anyone else ever performed the job and wanna chip in on how it is to do?
