I finally got around to ordering a lift. I did my research and decided to go with the 2in block and lift keys from totalperformanceonline.com. I cant wait to install it. I will for sure get pics when its all said and done. Hopefully my alignment wont be too off
same exact setup... skyjackers all the way around... When I tried to lift it to the max in the front my truck was literally bouncing cause my arms were maxed out. I dropped it down a little until problem was gone, now it sits 1 inch or so higher than back. LOVE IT
Start spraying your bolts today with penetrating oil and do it once a day until you do the install. Then, if all goes well... that sounds like a good time estimate.
It took me about 1.5-2.5 hrs but I was in a shop where my friends and I do this stuff all the time.... can't remember, but the keys are the hardest part.... and YES PLEASE SPRAY YOUR FACTORY BOLTS NOW, lets just say I didn't... and it took me longer.
well, It really all depends on how high you go... if you go up 3 inches like I did at first, you'll hate it and need alignment soon. If you go about an inch higher in the front than the back, you'll probably be ok but your tires will wearout quicker.
Lift came in the mail yesterday, installation begins today. I'll let you guys know how it goes. Hopefully I can get it done in the time I have today in shop class (about 3 hours).
