ABS and E Brake light on -.-
I have another problem :P
Story time.
So after my little issue with my radiator the other day I took the truck to the car wash with a can of gunk degreaser and cleaned off the Antifreeze that had drenched my engine and frame. I was as careful as possible with the pressure washer there so not to hit wires and my open air cleaner. Everything was good for yesterday. Then I went out of town for the night and got back earlier today. Took the truck out to pick up my girlfriend from work and everything was still fine. I stopped at a gas station to fill up and wouldn't yea know it. As I drove over the bump into their station both my ABS and EBrake light turned on. And haven't gone off yet, course they're only on when the trucks running. I figure I knocked something loose and that little bump finally made it show. (Seriously I'm starting to hate parking lots)
Can anyone give me suggestions as to where I could find the wires that would be causing this? I'm stumped and my Haynes Repair manual is being next to useless on the issue.

Also check the pressure on the brake peddle. If your peddle is soft and isn't firm, check brakes especially the rear. I had a similar issue where I washed the engine compartment and thought I had gotten something wet but it turned out the wheel cylinder blew and it was what caused the lights to go on. So check first your fluid level and then the brakes.

I've already checked my fluids and my brakes are fine as far as I can tell.
But I think theres a wiring issue for sure. Since during some heavy rain that was going on just now my turn signals stopped work on all sides of the truck. So I'm gonna have a mechanic take a peak at it on my day off thursday.

So I have a major issue now that I think has slowly branched from this original issue.
I have no brake lights, or turn signals...
My headlights work and my rear running lights work and thats about it.
I'm gonna get the truck looked at asap before I get pulled over lol.

I have the same issue with my lights. As soon as you find out please post what the problem is. I am rebuilding the tranny now and flipping the shackles. Next I have to do electrical work but I have the same problems you are having and in my electronics and electrical class, we spent 6 weeks trying to figure out the problem and we weren't able to find the problem. We cleaned every ground and checked the fuses. We could not find out a damn thing. We believe there is a break in the harness or corrosion with in a connector.
