What is Shock Stroke?
I can't remember if you have just stock or if it is lifted. But stock shocks will even handle a lift with the indexed keys 2-3in.
If you really want to know the stroke of the shock, remove your shock and measure. www.napaonline.com also lists lots of dimensions.

my truck is stock height. Quick question about the torsion bar though. I had my truck in class (i go to school for automotive) and was lookin over my truck with one of the teachers and he said that the spring was fully tightened, but it is sagging and i have never touched them before, but what i wanted to ask is, is do i have to worry about the torsion bar breaking on me if i try and tighten the bar up and level the sagging side? and from what i have compared to other stock 1st gen 4X4's my truck would be at stock height.
No you will not brake it, as long as it is in good shape no rust or major dents or scraps. I thought the same thing before I cranked mine up. The torsion bars handled heavy abuse from me. The front axle broke way before the bars could. No major air jumps though.
Ya just a breaker bar. If you lift the front end up you will release some tension to make it easier to turn the bolt. Make sure you take measurements on both sides before and after, get both sides equal.
another question. If the torsion bar is fully turned out would the best way to fix it be buying after market keys and what dodge vehicles are the torsion bars able to swap into a 1993 dakota?

I'm sure your not Max out on the stock torsion bar key, if you are someone already cranked it up to get more lift. The Indexed keys will have crack it up more. There is no interchange with the torsion bars.
