If I remember correctly I think the torque converter only bolts up to the flex plate in one position, so like Crazy says, if you keep turning it, it should line up. Good luck with it.

I got it on it did seem to only bolt up to plate in one position. Also no it's not the v6 tc it wouldn't work with the 46rh tottaly different mating with the trans. Everything else went smooth I just need to install a new crank sensor and hopefully fire her up today.
