OK so I just won 2000 dollars and I'm concisering ether buying a new truck or just making this one better and I really like the idea of putting it into this one so I need help idk what to do with it I have a 93 3.9l I would love to have a bigger motor but I don't want to do a swap because its too much work for me to do in a day or 2 alone and no one else is willing to help really so yeah I'm pretty much down to bolt on stuff I already have a new Exhaust and high flow cat but that's about it!

 

With the V6 there is only a few things you can do to gain some extra HP, but not much at all. A V8 swap would be best, and with all that extra cash just call up a few friends and say you'll pay them to help you $100 each and you'll buy pizza beer ect that will change their mind.

Or spend your $2,000 on a turbo system for the V6.

 

OK well if I do the swap I'd do the 318 so what do I need and what should i know cuz I'm only 19 so I'm not like super machanic

 

And were can I go to get the engine

Yes there was, more noticeable is the torque increase of the 5.9 engine.

 

So crazy if I drop the 5.9 in my lil street/strip truck with a 3.92 gear and locker then add all my upgrades to the 5.9 and add 1.7 rrs then that should scoot my lil ol truck down the road pretty good right?

 

It will shoot down the road very good, along with dragging the road with it just for fun since it has plenty of torque.
