Default 5 speed swap parts list....

Alright so I think I got a list of all the parts I need for my swap, I'm going to a pull a part next weekend and this what I am getting unless there's something I don't need..

Parts list

Clutch cable
Clutch cover (Pressure plate)
Clutch disc
Clutch slave cylinder
Flywheel
Knockdown linkage
Pedal (brake, clutch)
Pedal, brake, & and clutch assembly
Resovire brake/clutch/power steering
Shofter boot
Shifter linkage cover
Shirter linkage or rod
Throw out bearing
Throw out fork
Transmission Bell housing
Transmission floor shifter
Transmission mount
5 speed transmission

I know some of these things don't belong on this swap list right? I'm not the smartest when it comes to manuals haha...plus these all added up comes to about $260 total. So what doesn't belong here and what else have I forgotten?

I guess the one that is on the truck, they have a 5 speed 87 dakota at pull a part

Is there a way to distinguish the different models? does it matter if I get a 5 speed out of the 87 that has the 3.9 and it all bolt up correctly?

Alright so my biggest concern is the drive shaft. Hopefully one or the other will fit right and I wont be out another couple hundred. Hopefully Ill have everything all figured out by the time I go next weekend to pull the parts. any one else thinking i need anything?

A 1987 will have the A525/NV2500. AX-15s didn't make it into Dakotas until 1992 with the Magnum V6.

I'd worry less about the driveshaft and more about the clutch. At least to me it'd be worth buying a clutch kit so you don't have to tear it all back down in a month when the clutch goes.

How can I tell what tranny the parts truck will have? I know a 3.9 manual will bolt up correct? And if it looks decent enough, I'm gonna keep it in there. Then replace it all when I get the money.

Do I need kick down linkage, shifter linkage/rod if I'm swapping to a manual?
