Default 1996 Lift kit

I am looking for a lift kit for a 1996 Dakota. its 2wd, 4cyl. I can't find anything. Does anybody know where i can find one? It would be much appreciated.

No kit, but plenty of things you can do. Check the FAQ2 which is just above this post for all the info.

hey i had the same problem except mine is a 95 2wd v6 but what i did was i flipped the preaches in the rear and then i went to the junkyard and got jeep XJ front coils and they will work you just need to cut the very top off because the jeeps have a tighter top coil ( basically it doesnt line up with all the rest of the coils) and that gave me like an inch or 2 in the front ... but what i figured is if i want any more then that i will need a bigger spindle to allow the A-arm to sit lower

awesome. That doesn't sound too hard then. I did find a leveling kit for it and a lift for the rear end. But then I would be back to the same problem. The leveling kit is just the blocks that you put on the coils. I am iffy they work very good. Can I see a picture of your truck?

Here's a pic of my truck. Granted, it's 4 wheel drive but how I have it lifted should work for yours too. 2" body lift and 2" rear blocks.

I was going to do it but this guy wanted to buy my truck. So I sold it to him. Sorry man.

Apparently these are universal kits for our trucks...I dont know how good there are...these ones are supposedly suspension lift kits
