Thought I would share some pictures of my 87. I had it painted last week. Not a perfect job, but much better then it was. The paint on the hood and top and peeled off to the primer.

Thanks everyone for your kind comments. The bedliner did not turn out too well. First off, its way too thin. If you look in the picture you can see the red paint. Second, its pulling loose. I would like to find one of the drop in under rail plastic liners, but so far, I can find them for the short bed, but not the long bed. Otherwise, I am going to have to try and strip this out and then get rhino or something like that sprayed in.
I am going to try to re-finish the wheels, or find a set to fit it.
I would like for the truck to have more power, and at one time I was checking on putting a 5.2 in it. But its a 5spd and to add a v-8 I was concerned with the drivetrain holding up.
For a 87 the interior and the rest of the truck is in pretty good shape. My brother purchased it new and it only has 72,000 miles on it.
