yup I too have a 44o sitting here, if my son doesn't do something with it soon I am gonna claim it for "storage".....
I have also thought of doing a 4 cyl 3.9 Cummins swap into a Dakota.....

4bt? That would be pretty cool. There is a thread in the second gen ram section that a member put one in his truck. Good read. (though, it's been a while ago.)

Nah I wanna do the straight 6. Either a 12 or 24v. I know weights a big issue but if the guys on roadkill can put one in a Cadillac, why can't I put one in a dakota

I think the biggest problem with the six will be length. You simply may not have enough room in the engine compartment for it. Yeah, weight is going to be a significant issue, you'll have to address the front suspension to have any hope of it NOT riding on the bump stops.

if you are going to fuel inject a 440 in a Dak itmust be time to twin turbo it too....lol
