Well wanna start off by saying I love my dodge so much that I will about put my last penny into this truck had a small accident and now I need a new radiator support along with a bunch of stuff like hood radiator ac condenser ect. Just needing some advice on what things to check on and part numbers. Didn’t damage the block (thank God I probably would’ve scraped it if it did) but did mess the clutch fan up thinking about putting a electric fan instead thought comments or suggestions Thanks again 1st Gen Dodge Dakota family

Yea it bent 2 of the 5 blades back after I got it home I got the hood up which was a fun time to get open looked at it the radiator was smashed against the clutch fan but after getting everything out of the way the truck started right up no extra noises but I’ll definitely be taking the pump off inspecting it but my main question now is will a 90’s Dakota radiator core support work with my 96 Dakota v8 magnum

I would pull the entire front clip (fenders, hood, core support, which is fairly simple to do. even taking it all apart, it shouldnt take more than a couple hours total) and make absolutely certain that nothing besides the front frame horns got bent. Looking at the pics, it looks like the frame has been tweaked a bit, and pulling the front clip will make it easier to take measurements from different points to verify that everything is straight.
If your mentioning the two d rings in the front I added those for recovery points but when used the kinda bent inward no harm there just flimsy steel I thought would hold up better guesse I should’ve bolted them straight to the frame but I did take everything Alpert when I got home I’m so happy it wasn’t like most cars are to day where everything is welded together because if it was the I would’ve scrapped it but it’s all bolt in so much more user friendly to take apart and replace plus part at the local JY are plentiful if you know a person or two plus it seems like people are just throwing these trucks away for simple i mean stuff that it probably won’t cost but maybe $300 or less to still be drivable kinda make me mad I really like this boxy body style plus it’s a dying breed but some things gotta die so I can pick off of it to make mine still live so I’m going to my pick n save and get a completed front to put on my truck just can’t let my babe die without a fighting chane
The way that hood is buckled, with the fenders still (apparently!) lining up with it - I bet the fenders are bent back over the doors, right?
If so, the frame is most likely bent under that.
Oh, it's still repairable - but talk to the frame guys. Mine (when we had the Cougar pulled back straight after a fender bender) wanted the warped fender left ON the car as a visual line up aid.
(BTW - The Cougar drove really good before; but afterwards, it rode and handled noticably BETTER! Turns out the frame had been tweaked by a previous owner's accident ... )
Hey just needing some help about replacing my hood will a 92 hood for a v6 work on my 96 v8 truck just bought on a whim it for dirt cheap ($20 bucks can’t beat that kind of savings) but I’m now second guessing myself. I really need help from y’all on my journey through all this
