Default extreme cooling radiator

I purchased a spectra CU982 (26.25 width) to replace the 22.5 width that is in the truck now. Looking at the picture below, it appears that the core support should be opened up a little....
By chance, would anyone have a truck that came from the factory with the extreme cooling package and if so, can you tell if the core support is opened up?
Also, I ordered, for now, 1 spal 12in fan to sandwich between the radiator and condenser. After I make sure it will clear, I will order the second one.
FWIW it seems the shelby package used 2 11in fans, but I believe 2 12's will fit, and it would be about 500 cfm more air flow.
Thanks for your help

Mine didn't come with it, but the unit I grabbed the shroud off of didn't have it opened up anymore either.

What it DID have was the sealing flaps either side (which I got with the shroud!) - I'll try to get pics of them for you.

Those holes there in the core support are to support the transmission cooler (which I have a larger Hayden unit instead); I'm not sure how well I can take a pic of that due to the condenser for the A/C being in the way.

Hey Ralph, A picture of the sealing flaps would be nice!!
Mine is a 5 speed, so no cooler.
I have a relay-fuse panel off of a 92?
I am going to that for the fans.
Also, plan to hook up 2 relays for the headlights.
And I will be putting the fuel pump relay in it as well.
Ill take pictures as I go.
Thanks again for your help.

The sealing flaps aren't visible with the radiator installed and the condenser installed, alas.

I spent 20 minutes trying to find an angle that would show them.

But TBH, I didn't really want to tear the front of my truck apart for them.

Hey Ralph,
Thanks for trying anyways.....
I ordered one fan, Spal 30101505. I plan to use 2, but wanted to check fitment first...
Below are pictures of the fan, setting on the new radiator, and holding it in the core support.
I plan to start a new thread, once I get everything, and start installing.....
Always open to suggestions on making this better or easier.!!
