Code 1-1 and hood latch stuck
truck stalled when taking a turn slow. started back up, no cel shown. Turned key on and off and got 1-1 code. Anyone have experience with this?
also, hood hinges broke off and the metal part that latches from the hood to the grill got bent. I bent it straight and closed the hood. Now it's stuck in there.
any tips?

You sure that isn;t a code 11? Which is with no CEL No crank reference signal detected during engine cranking.
There are vids about the hood. I think you will need a very long flat head screw driver and a light and to come up from below and slide the screw driver up into release the first lock. I think I posted pics of mine for someone let me look.
Edit- Look at my pictures (IDK if other members can view them) the last one shows the hole on the body that the hood latches into. You'll have to come up from below and slip the flat screwdriver in and slide it along to the driver side and get it to release.

Sorry not to hash on any dodge dealership or anything, but very few things they can do yermyjermy that with a little time, research and back woods ingenuity that you can’t. The guy that I bought the truck from said he took the truck in and needed to get just a basic tune up (sparks, wires, fuel filter( all stuff most people can do themselves ))and told him that if the was anything else they’d take a look. he ended up with a bill around $1200 dollars. Came to find out they did a smog test and failed him and told him he couldn’t leave with the vehicle unless he got a bunch of other things put on like the catalytic converter,EGR etc just to pass .which in VA a smog test which even need unless you live in Washington DC area but I’d really don’t like when people or company’s say stuff like if you need additional assistance we’ll help let us know because they gonna nickel and dime you on everything they do. I hate to rant but like RP tells a lot of people do your research and buy a full version of a repair manual for the trucks year. I’m not the smartest person but I will say That after my purchase of the book I feel way more comfortable knowing that it’s getting done the same way as the tech but at a quarter of the cost and if next time it happens I can do it again and again (as long as parts are available).
But if you have a good CPS on hand already and it fixes the problem ignore me
